Video Game Massacre 1

This is when it all started. I was always having my friends and other people over to play video games. This happened about every weekend. One day I said to myself "It would be really cool to see a whole group of people compete to see who's best." That was when I came up with this competition. I was sick of always hearing people say "I beat that game." or "I can kick anyone's ass at that game.". You and I know that a lot of these people like to use cheats and try to get codes to help them beat a lot of games. Most of them don't admit to it and try to act as if they're skilled players. I do know a lot of people are truly good too. Well this competition will separate the true gamers from the lame wannabe's. Besides who wants to read a strategy guide when you haven't even tried to beat the game on your own. Your only ruining it for yourself and turning the game into a tour. Suddenly a game that is supposed to be scary or adventurous turns in just another game with no surprises and you've quickly wasted your $49.99. Truly lame!!! I mean look at Resident Evil (the original). I beat the game without cheats or a guide. Having the Doberman Pincers jump out of the glass windows scared the bejesus out of me. Probably one of the better scares I've had in awhile (Well almost. Those of you who know me know what I mean). The people that bought the stupid strategy guide already knew the dogs were going to jump out and expected it. How crappy is that.... now that the scare factor of this horror survival game is gone. The only time I'd use codes or guides is after I beat a game and to see the weird crazy stuff. This competition is a true test of skill and will determine who is truly the better player.
