Halloween Parties
Our favorite time of year! Yet another thing Jill and I have in common..... we love Halloween ( of course ). October is very cool for the fact that everything is decked out with creepy stuff. Scarecrows, ghosts, monsters, dummies, pumpkins etc., etc., etc.. If we were to win a lottery we would by a second house or a barn specifically for Halloween parties ( the barn may be possible some day... we'll see ). In the past we've had some pretty cool Halloween parties and the people that came to them had some great costumes. A lot of our friends are extremely talented in the creativity area. Our friend Dan V. made a Groundskeeper Willie ( from the Simpsons ) mask out of paper machet and it looked exactly like the character. Dan won the prize for best costume that year. A couple of years ago Nicole M. and Katie M. made a graveyard cake. It had green coconut for grass, cookies for graves and it even had a tomb in the middle ( very cool ). Another year Nicole M. and Jim P. made a desert that looked like a cat box with little cat turds made from tootsie rolls. To serve the dessert you had to use a litter scoop! Very sick.... delicious and yet again very cool. Jill and I have built up quite a collection of decorations for these parties. The decorations and props may be cool, but in the end it is really the people invited are what make these events fun for everyone else. If any of you come across any of our old party photos, please let us know and we'll use them to update the site. I'm still getting old rolls of film developed from past years!!!
